This is part of Dan's next song, [Pre-Production Song #3] though since the part played here, didn't really make the cut, I decided to post it as a solo track to hear it. I thought this was pretty cool, so I'd upload it here.
I put this Sax Player Outside Mercenary, in the front, by the pond - where there so much cool reverb from our big red brick building - it is hard to suggest anything else for recording this part against the basics I have already done.
I'll be getting a rough up on my thread soon. This is pretty cool though, and rest assured I will be doing this exact thing again, with the same setup. It was the Coles 4050 90'd with their very cool magnetic mount, placed on the stoop out front at Mercenary with the Player about 6-10 feet from the microphone.
The microphone was sent through over 400 feet of wire into an NPNG 2NW and then into Radar. Enjoy! The 4050 is special. Very Special......
