Long story...

He showed up to work one day in a wood-paneled Winnebago and came in wearing a French Maid's outfit. Pocket dog in a purse. Wayyy too much lipstick and eyeliner in all the wrong places.

I could go on. I won't. Don't wanna get those images back into my mind.

We all made the executive decision to usurp his throne and sent his resumé to Presonus and Telefunken Elektroakustik. Presonus couldn't get down with his new image, but he was hired by Telefunken within 15 minutes.

.................

Please understand that I am joking.

He sold his share of Mercenary Audio last summer after 20 years of ridiculously dedicated frustration and service. I believe he still has keys to the building and lives 5 minutes away. Adam house-sat for him while he was on his first vacation in 5000+ years. I'm gonna try and wrangle him up to Boston for dinner and adult beverages this week. Jay Fitz still runs day-to-day operations here and with the addition of a new intern, Mindless McDredz, we're the same crew we've been for 3+ years...some of us a lot longer. Donny B's been in shipping/receiving/taking secret shots of whiskey for well over a decade.

I guess if you want to know the full story you can always contact him. He tries to "make his ass very available."

It should also be noted that good ol' Fletcher is still a "for-hire" engineer at our studio.
